Cineque Pictures is a motion picture company providing a variety of film and video production services that will fit any project's needs. We offer services from concept to completed film or product. Our talented writers, producers, directors, composers, cinematographers, web designers, sound designers, animators, editors, and crew members can take your idea and bring it to the silver screen with in your budget. Cineque Pictures is best known for "Dissonance" [2008], which has won "Best Feature Film" awards at several film festivals in addition to many other awards, including "Best Director". Cineque Pictures has produced the very first award winning Afghan music video "Khanjar" for Ehsan Aman to win the "Atlantis" award at the Moondance International Film Festival in addition to winning the "Audience" award. 2010 is a promising year for Cineque Pictures as it ventures into bigger budgeted projects. It will begin production on a dramatic feature film “Laila”, which is inspired by real events, and will complete and distribute “XeNation?” theatrically. Founder, Monière grew up in Brooklyn, New York having escaped Soviet-occupied Afghanistan in 1979. While attending grad film school in Manhattan in 1998, he created Cineque Pictures. He came up with the name after searching for a film production company name for over a year; every name was taken. He finally decided to create a name by combing two names together. Cinematically & Unique. He promised himself that every film produced by Cineque Pictures will, indefinitely be a cinematically unique experience.
